Ancient Cities

Ancient Theatre: located on the Bodrum-Turgutreis road. The excavated portion of the scene revealed the 13,000-seat theater and seats have been restored.

Rock Tombs Above the theater, and the slope are rock tombs belonging to the Hellenistic and Roman periods.

Myndos Gate: west of the city, Halicarnassus was one of the entrances. Myndos two monumental towers and behind them at the gate into the city, consisted of an inner courtyard. This is the first stage of repair of the door in the north of the city walls with towers, completed in 1999.
